How to Create a Great Video

Great Videos: Start with motion (don't start before the dancing is underway), are close up - minimizing background, show full floors, show all ages, body types & skin colors, show casual attire along with square dance attire, but most importantly:

Fun, Friendship, Smiles, Laughter & Joy!

This video would be great, if the elements of a Great Video had been employed: 

Pros: 

  • Shows young people dancing
  • Fun
  • Energy
  • Casual clothing

Cons:

  • Too much background
  • Too much empty floor
  • Too much still time
  • Too far away
  • Might be better lighting if it were closer
  • If it were closer, we could see faces!
