Patty Greene is a nationally recognized square dance caller, leader, coach, and advocate for the future of square dancing. Calling since 1994, Patty is known for her musical versatility, engaging style, energy, clarity, and genuine connection with dancers. She brings a simple philosophy to every dance: great calling is about liking people, creating community, and making sure dancers leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Patty has played a significant leadership role in the square dance community, including serving two terms as Chairman of the CALLERLAB Board of Directors and in numerous other CALLERLAB leadership positions. As a CALLERLAB Accredited Caller Coach, she works with callers through workshops, schools, and individual mentoring. Her approach is not about creating copies of herself—it is about helping people discover their own strengths, develop their skills, and become the best callers and leaders they can be.
Today, Patty is putting that experience to work on a larger challenge: how do we build a stronger future for square and round dancing? . Her message is direct: if we want square dancing to thrive, we have to be willing to evolve.
